Greek deputy minister Nikos Nikolopoulos resigns

Greek deputy minister Nikos Nikolopoulos tendered his  resigns over bailout stance.Greece’s deputy minister in charge of labor, social security and welfare resigned on Monday hours after the new coalition government won a confidence vote in parliament.Nikos Nikolopoulos.He is also in charge of the pension issue, said in his resignation letter that the government should have pressed harder to renegotiate the terms of the country’s bailout agreement.

The Greek government led by Prime Minister Antonis Samaras has begun talks with EU representatives on the relaxation of the conditions of austerity measures the EU has imposed in return for financial support.
Nikolopoulos is the first member of the new cabinet, since it was formed in June, to resign in opposition to government policy.
